We’re the Jones Family—Colbey, Sterling, and Kaleigh.

Our journey began in 2016 when Colbey, my husband and biggest cheerleader, bought me a Silhouette machine, a roll of vinyl, and a heat press. At the time, I was navigating the challenges of young motherhood and the baby blues, searching for a creative outlet to help me feel like myself again. That small gesture of support sparked a passion I didn’t even know I had, and it quickly became my therapy and joy.

Over the years, I dabbled in graphic tees, branding, marketing, and web design—all while balancing life as a mom. In 2020, amidst the chaos of the pandemic, I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my dream of owning a boutique. It wasn’t always smooth sailing, but the experience taught me invaluable lessons about business and creativity.

As much as I loved running the boutique, I realized my true passion lay in creating my own designs rather than selling others’ creativity. That’s when Colbey and I dove into screen printing, creating custom designs for our boutique and other businesses. We loved the process, but we wanted more creative freedom and flexibility than screen printing could provide.

Enter our DTF printing journey. After lots of prayers, late-night number crunching, and a healthy dose of humor, we invested in our DTF printer—a decision that felt like the natural next step. Now, we’re able to bring our design visions to life and share them with other businesses through high-quality gang sheet prints.

At Rae Sterling Apparel + Printing, 2025 is shaping up to be our most exciting chapter yet. We’re thrilled to offer products we love, services that empower other business owners, and designs straight from our hearts.
